Bruce Ford Community Center After School The Bruce Ford Community Center serves children and families in the 79107 zip code.  After school care is provided at minimum cost to families that would otherwise be unable to provide their children with supervising after school.  The center provides tutoring, character development classes and recreational activities.  During the summer, the Bruce Ford Community Center provides summer day camp for these same families and their children.  The Center also provides snacks and meals as needed to these children and their families.  Family Place Buckner Family Place in Amarillo is a multi-unit transitional housing program that provides safe, affordable housing to single parents and their children while the parents are enrolled in an educational or vocational program.  The Family Place program is designed to strengthen families while moving them from government assistance and unsafe domestic situations to the workforce.  Nurturing Program The Nurturing Program of Buckner Children and Family Services offers a wide variety of opportunities for families, children, professionals, churches, schools and agencies.  Listed below are a few of the opportunities we have available to families and communities.
