General Description: 

Buckner Children & Family Services and Cliff Temple Baptist Church have partnered to provide community ministries and services for the surrounding Oak Cliff community in South Dallas.  Both are committed to “Building a Healthier Community.”

Services:
• Goslin Care Ministry: providing client assistance through food, food vouchers, some clothing & clothing referrals, furniture, limited financial assistance, and legal aid services. Hours of operation are M-F from 9am-12pm & 1pm-3:00pm. Legal aid services are provided every Wednesday from 1pm-3pm.

• Crisis Intervention Counseling: individuals and families are given the opportunity to improve their circumstances through resource coordination and casework support.  Services provided as needed.-

• Coordination of community services for various ministries:  outside agencies invited to provide services at the church/Goslin Care Ministry (i.e.  ASC3ND program - Rainbow Days, Inc. and North Texas Food Bank; Youth program – North Texas Food Bank)-

• Coordination of community programs:  currently structuring/planning  educational programs for children, youth, and families within the church and community (i.e. Bilingual – Parenting, Job Readiness and Technology Training

• Translation Assistance:  assistance for Spanish-speaking individuals in communicating with (through verbal or written means) other agencies, service providers, and community entities.  Services provided as needed.
