Foster Care

Buckner Foster Care Program provides family care for abused or neglected children and teenagers; specialized therapeutic homes for child abuse victims suffering from emotional and behavioral problems; and temporary care for children and teens whose parents are suffering serious health or financial difficulties.

Buckner Foster Parents
Receive orientation to the program
Participate in on-going training
Attend quarterly meetings with professional staff
Receive support services for the child
Adhere to Christian principles
Receive monthly reimbursement to help cover the added expenses of each foster child

Buckner Foster Children
Range in age from 0-17
Need security, guidance and structure in their lives
Require love, nurturing and attention
