School Supply Train
"Can you please help my children? They have nothing for school." This is the question we hear each August, when Buckner partners with the Junior League of Longview to give away school supplies to needy families. Through donations received from individuals, groups, and businesses, we typically serve hundreds of students each year. To find out how you can get involved, contact us at 903-757-9383.

Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays
Each year many families anticipate Buckner’s Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays program. This program matches needy families with sponsors in the community. Sponsors, such as individual families, Sunday School Classes, businesses, and civic groups provide food and gifts to families, often making a personal delivery. Buckner staff and volunteers are often able to share with clients that it is God’s love for us that encourages donors and sponsors to share His love with others, often strangers, at Christmas. Clients truly experience Christ’s love through words and deeds during this season. To find out how you can get involved, contact us at 903-757-9383.
