Summer Day Camp Each summer, through grants provided by the Junior League of Longview and the Bruce McMillan Foundation, Buckner offers area children the opportunity to experience the fun and structure of a summer camp. Serving children ages 6-10 years old, the camp grew out of the need to provide a safe, fun summer activity for children. Woodland Christian Church provides our camp facilities and is located close to the neighborhoods in which most of our campers live. Buckner Summer Day Camp consists of six consecutive one-week sessions. The cost of camp is $45 for the week.
