The Nurturing Program of Buckner Children and Family Services offers a wide variety of opportunities for families, children, professionals, churches, schools, agencies and staff development.  Listed below are a few of the options we have available to families and communities.

Nurturing Parenting Program
The ABC curriculum used in the Nurturing program provides a systematic approach to integrations of the entire family into the education process, equipping parents with effective strategies for:
• Discipline
• Safety
• Problem Solving
• School Success
• Communication
• Drugs, alcohol, and stress management
• Anger Management
• Personal Power and Choices

    Parenting Programs address issues related to:
    • Parents and their infants, toddlers and preschoolers
    • Parents and their school-age children
    • Parents and Adolescents
    • Teenage parents and their families
    • Foster and Adoptive Parents
    • Parents with Special Learning Needs
    • Nurturing God’s Way

    Family Foundations Program
    Family Foundations provides training, classes and workshops in all of the above-mentioned areas as well as other timely topics of concern for families and their communities.  A solid foundation is the most important key to success in our lives.  The Family Foundations program provides an in-depth look at issues affecting today’s families such as:
