Community Services As the needs of children and families have changed throughout the years, our services and programs have also changed. Buckner has a strong history of caring for hurting individuals that enables us to continually expand our services to meet the constantly changing needs of our society. TRAIL Program TRAIL (Transitioning to Responsible Adult Independent Living) is for young adults age 17-21 who are transitioning from Child Protective Services foster care to independent living. Assertive case management provides support as they work toward self-sufficiency by gaining education, job skills, life management skills and social skills. Buckner TRAIL Program 936-633-7182. Kid’s Hope Mentoring Program This innovative mentoring program connects churches with schools. One church adopts one school and involved church members spend one hour each week mentoring one child during the school day.
